I had 3 c sections (not elective, just my labor wouldn’t progress all 3 times)
With each baby, I could not successfully breastfeed! My babies would fall asleep at the breast and wouldn’t suck effectively. I had to continue waking them up continually and doing breast compressions. I have seen many lactation clinics and stuff but nothing helped. I do have enough milk, the milk is not too slow or too fast it’s just normal.
So after about 3 months of hard work of breastfeeding and spending soooo much time on that, I end up pumping my milk and feeding baby through a bottle. It’s alot easier for both of us.
Is it typical for those problems after a c section? I was told by a chiropractor that 90% of babies that she sees who were born by a c section have feeding problems…
