I have a baby girl a week old now. I was getting an overload of milk when I first started breast feeding. I started to only breast feed her from my breast during the day and pump bottles for the night time. Here recently though, after the baby feeds my breast continue to squirt breast milk. It only lasts a few minutes. I didn’t know if this was normal or something I need to talk to my doctor about? Plus, when I first started I gorged bad. I had a pain underneath my arm pits on both sides. I let the baby drain one completely and it started to feel better. The other side continued to hurt for quite a while. Then I drained both of them completely and the pain disappeared. Now it seems like I’m not producing enough milk yet I’m squirting it? Any ideas on what I need to do or not to do? Is this a normal thing? If I’m low, how do I produce more? And if I’m over producing, am I doing the right thing? Thank you for taking time to read this and answering if you do.
